Our Father's House Community Church
Scholarship Guidelines

To receive consideration, applicants must:

  • be members or regular attendees of Our Father’s House Community Church and remain active in church activities as a scholarship recipient (preference will be given to members).

  • have a minimum cumulative (un-weighted) high school GPA of 2.5 or a college GPA of 2.5

  • be 17 to 25 years of age at time of application submittal

  • be enrolled full-time during the academic year in a program leading to a two or four-year degree at an accredited college or university.

Scholarship awards are renewable providing the recipient has maintained a GPA of at least 2.5 and is in good standing at the institution attended.

In the event that the yearly applicant pool has more qualified applicants than the maximum number of scholarships available, those applicants with the highest cumulative GPA will receive the awards. (Or the total annual award will be divided by the number of qualified applicants.)

The following items are to be submitted to the Scholarship Committee:

  • online or printed application completed in full

  • grade transcript through the first semester of 12th grade for high school seniors or most recent grade

    transcript for college students

  • one letter of recommendation

The Scholarship Committee of Our Father’s House will review all completed scholarship applications and select recipients. The committee will reserve the right to rescind an award should a recipient’s circumstances change; such as, failure to graduate from high school, failure to enroll at an accredited institution, or failure to maintain a GPA of 2.5. The Committee will reserve the right to withhold the award in the event that no applicants are deemed to meet the qualifications.
