Floyd was a founder and a member of Our
Father's House Community Church where he served as the Head Usher.
He was an avid gardener with a special love of roses. He served as
President for the Nashville Rose Society and was a consulting Rosarian for the National Rose Society. He was a retiree from Harris
Press Company. Floyd is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd
Beecher & Anna Margaret Sandusky; 2 sisters; 2 brothers. He is
survived by his wife of over 64 years, Maruth Quarles Sandusky;
daughter, Kathy (Stephen) Kimmey; sister, Mildred (W.A.) Carr;
granddaughter, Serena King; great-grandchildren, Mikaelah, Hailey,
Edward and Nicholas. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m.
Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the Hermitage Funeral Home with Brother
James Rowlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Hermitage
Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 4 p.m.
until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 and from 12 p.m. until
time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial
